Created, Saved and Gifted by God, we are called to Seek, Serve and Share Jesus Christ.

Welcome to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church blog site.  Here you will find news and information about the church and our mission, worship, activities and outreach.  The site also offers an opportunity for prayer and reflection as we share our mutual journeys of faith.

Peace be to you, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Habitat has worked with more than 300,000 families to provide shelter for almost a million people. Thrivent Builds is an effort to dramatically increase the number of homes Habitat builds in a year—beyond the homes Habitat already builds. The goal is to build hundreds of homes per year with Habitat. Members and friends of Good Shepherd are invited to be a part of the Thrivent Builds with Dayton Habitat on May 12. If you are interested in being a part of the GSLC team to help with this build, please contact Dick Ermlich.  http://www.daytonhabitat.org

Sandy Pfaff has resigned from Council. We sincerely thank her for her service to Good Shepherd as a member of Council and in her role as secretary! Bob Sauer has been elected to fill the resulting vacancy on the Council per the provisions in our constitution. Bob’s nomination was based on a combination of the congregational voting for Council last fall and willingness to serve on the Council at this time.
