Ha batter, batter, batter, batter swing! It’s time to dust off your cleats and get ready for Good Shepherd softball. There is a signup sheet in the narthex for anyone 18 years or older interested in playing softball – all are welcome! The plan is to practice the next three Sundays from 4-5:30pm at Ernst field. The first game is scheduled for May 2. Ernst field is located off of East David behind the Kettering YMCA. Please make sure you fill out the roster. If you are interested and can’t make it to practice, or to get your
name on the roster, please call Ed Thieman.

Men, mark your calendars now! We will be part of a men’s retreat that will take place at Lutheran Memorial Camp on October 1-3. Plans are still being developed, but there is talk of doing lots of fishing in their lake and maybe doing some work projects. Can you say fresh fish fry? We’ll have more details available as they become available.
If you decide that God is leading you to membership at Good Shepherd, we invite you to join our upcoming New Member Orientation session that will be held on Sunday, March 14 from 12:15 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. This session will be led by Pastor Prochaska. The orientation will be helpful in letting you know more about Good Shepherd and our missions, as we invite you to participate in opportunities to grow in grace.
You are invited to piano recitals by students of Deborah Macaulay. The recitals will be held at Good Shepherd on Saturday, March 13 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
